About

I’ve been creating since childhood—back when crayons, scissors, and glue felt like tools for making my own little world. Shows like Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers shaped my early imagination, opening me to different cultures, perspectives, and a sense of curiosity that never really left.

My creative path has wandered through many forms. I started in film photography, stepped away for years, then resurfaced through small handmade crafts before finding collage. Both traditional and digital collage feel natural to me. I love gathering existing images, choosing the pieces that resonate, and letting them arrange themselves into something new. My process is instinctive and unforced; music often sparks the flow, while digital tools open up possibilities (and save me from paper cuts).

Themes of dreaminess, retro aesthetics, and everyday beauty show up in my work, influenced by my Buddhist practice and personal healing. Art has become my way of expressing what I often found difficult to say out loud. Creating helps me understand myself, one piece at a time.

Being in my 50s has brought a sense of openness and grounding. My experiences of pain, growth, and everything between have shaped a clearer creative voice. Collage reminds me of connection: blending pieces made by others mirrors how we’re all part of each other’s stories.

I hope my art offers a sense of connection or reflection for anyone who encounters it. I imagine my work living quietly in homes, becoming part of someone’s space rather than existing in grand galleries.

Right now, I’m focused on sharing my work online and exploring projects that support healing and self-understanding. My style comes from using what’s available and transforming it into something honest—something that reflects where I am on this ongoing creative path.
