This year marked the first time I allowed myself to be called an artist. Creativity has always been part of my life, but my personal work stayed mostly private for a long time. In 2025, I made the decision to focus on my own practice and begin sharing it openly.

I’m Renee Rising, a visual artist working primarily in digital and analog collage. My work explores dreamlike spaces that blend the seen and unseen, often inspired by music and words that linger with me. While I’m drawn to heavier themes, I approach them with softness, believing growth happens in dark moments and can later be shared in gentler ways.

My process is intuitive and feeling-led. I follow ideas as they unfold through imagery, color, layout, and symbolism without overthinking. Creating is both personal therapy and a way of telling pieces of my story, leaving room for viewers to bring their own meaning.

This year I began sharing my work on Instagram and TikTok and launched a new website dedicated entirely to my art. I’m focused less on metrics and more on showing up consistently and authentically.

Looking ahead, I plan to continue exploring themes that resonate, expand into multimedia approaches, and further blend digital and analog work. I also hope to begin submitting to local shows.

I’m always open to connecting with other artists for collaborations, guest posts, and creative exchanges, especially those inspired by music or collage. If you’d like to collaborate, reach out at reneerising37@gmail.com
